Figbirds up from the South

What is falling on the

backyard roof?

Are some goofy figbirds

eating figs

and dropping them

all over the place?

They’re up from the

south again

with their golden coats

and bright red eyes

They’re cute..

astute too

They knew the figs

would be ready

so steady as anything

they flew all the way

from the south

to put those figs

in their mouth

What a great feast

they’re having

It’s sociable too..
