Claude discovered a mouse

somewhere close

to the next door house

He quietly sidled up

while the mouse was

considering its options

It could quickly run inside

and hide

or become a statistic

of a masochistic cat

The mouse was no match

for Claude..

who roared and pounced

It wasn’t announced

So he trounced

that poor little mouse

and had him for dinner
